About Me

About Me
I’m Laura, an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner, and a mum of twins. I work with children from 4 upwards, supporting them with their emotional wellbeing. And I also support parents to learn how best to help their children and to create a happier, calmer home.
Why I do what I do
My journey into wellbeing started in the classroom. With over 15 years of experience in education, I have spent over a decade supporting children and families through their toughest emotional chapters. I have also sadly seen just how many children struggle with their mental health and wellbeing. So many children struggle to put 'big feelings' into words. Many feel anxious, or get easily frustrated and don't know what to do with those overwhelming emotions. Lots of children struggle to identify their strengths and have low self esteem which impacts them in many ways. And many children find social situations hard and don't know how to manage friendship dynamics, such as dealing with conflict.
I set up Laura Byrne Wellbeing to bridge that gap—to provide the gentle, practical support that is needed to help children to grow into happy, confident and resilient individuals, and to help parents to make home life happier and calmer.
